- Biography
- After studying medicine at Utrecht University, Marc Buise completed his training as an anesthesiologist in Rotterdam and the Intensive Care specialization in Leiden. After working for 16 years as an anesthesiologist-intensivist at the Catharina Hospital in Eindhoven, he has been Medical Head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at Maastricht University Medical Center since 2022. His research focuses on perioperative cognition and delirium. In 2020, Buise developed the digital Post-ICU diary together with Games for Health.
