Biography

Dr. Ting Jiang is the Principal of Global Health and Development at Center for Advanced Hindsight, a behavioral science lab at Duke University led by Dan Ariely. She is both a scientist, who has published in a broad range of disciplines ranging from economics, psychology to anthropology, as well as a product maker who leads different teams in creating various well-being apps and games, and a social entrepreneur who is in the process of founding a peer-to-peer charitable giving organization Mbrella. She has consulted for a diverse organizations including the World Bank (on the World Development Report 2015: Mind, Society and Behavior), Gates Foundation (on global nutrition), Joep Lange Institute (on healthcare financing and access) and Actify initiative of Zilveren Kruis (on healthy living).
