Stijn Sadée

Stijn Sadée works as a project manager and product owner at Medworq. Medworq is a Dutch company that offers guidance and solutions for the implementation of medical care concepts and innovative IT products for medical professionals and patients. They do this by combining medical, financial and ICT knowledge. As part of the service provision, ICT products are developed that enable healthcare providers to identify high risk patients early, with decision support to determine the correct treatment and to set the right priorities for care managers.

Stijn has a master’s degree in neuropsychology with an extra focus in the field of organisational psychology. Medical knowledge, organisation development and a dose of creativity all come in handy in his current work. His main interest lies in developing and implementing innovative tools that support patients, medical professionals and organisations. Stijn was awarded a first price in Hacking Health Care for a augmented reality product for patients with dementia.

As product owner, Stijn looks after the development and vision of GUIDE, among others. GUIDE is an app and connected dashboard that supports patients and practitioners with the decision for the best treatment and monitoring status. Through different modules it gives the patient an insight in his or her situation an shows profiles and personalized information. GUIDE supports the medical professional in monitoring and by integrating a custom workflow.

GUIDE – Gezonde Botten is a Shared Decision Making tool that supports patients and medical professionals on the road towards the right treatment. With an app that does risk assessments on multiple factors, GUIDE gives patients a valuable insight in their situation. Showing their profile and personalized information about treatment options, tips and lifestyle, GUIDE helps patients with the steps towards a decision for a treatment. In the meantime the GUIDE dashboard, makes the health care process more efficient, by profiling patients and reducing registration time. It provides medical professionals the opportunity to easily monitor their patients and organize their work. GUIDE – Gezonde Botten helps with giving the right patients, the right care.
