From our conference host

He is serious, seeks relationships in presentations, summarizes, moderates and inspires the audience with a good sense of English humor. John Harrison will be our conference host for the fifth time in a row! A celebration. Here is his reaction on our invitation

‘I’m thrilled to be hosting Games for Health Europe again this year. The conference is a highlight in my calendar and it has been a pleasure to see the transition to more advanced issues of game use and acceptance. The utility of game technology has shifted from novelty to mainstream and last year’s theme of substitution was a realistic and timely consideration of how health games can replace standard approaches. This year’s theme of transformation is bolder and takes us to a new level, to how game technology can help us meet new challenges. Part of my own commitment to the Games for Health endeavour has been to ensure health care does not become a luxury. Being part of the Games for Health Europe family motivates me and others to ensure this does not happen.’
