Simon McCallum is a New Zealander working in Norway. He has 10 year Lecturing and research experience in Computer Scinece and Game Development, and 2 years working as a Game Developer. His current research interests are Serious Games, including both Games for Health and Games for Education; Augmented Reality; and pervasive games.

The introduction of games into healthcare provides new ways of personalising care, while the perspective of personalised healthcare can inform the design of games for health.
